- Productive – Marsh Mallow germinates in 14-21 days when soil temps are 60°F. Plant 1/4” deep and space 12-24” apart in an area with full sun. This variety will grow 3-6’ tall with a spread of 2-3’. Marshmallow flowers in about 120 days, root is ready to be harvested in about 700 days. Plant in USDA zones 3-9.
